Precious Moments figurines celebrate life's major milestones and memorable holidays as well as the joys of daily living. A gift for a new baby can be followed by a section of a train each year for the first ten years of life, providing the beginnings of the child's own collection.

What began more than a quarter of a century ago as gifts for Sam Butcher's family and friends has grown into what we now recognize as the tear-drop eye children of Precious Moments. Early work was done in the 1970's in the form of cards and posters. When Sam and a friend took their work to a convention, they were swarmed by retailers wanting to carry their product line. It was shortly thereafter that the Enesco corporation asked Sam to design a three-dimensional form of his work, and the Precious Moments collectible figurines began.

Precious Moments has hundreds of pieces specifically designed for Christmas and other holidays. "Come Let Us Adore Him" is a beautiful nativity set in stock at Nila's Gem & Gift Shoppe. "You're Pufff-fect, Pumpkin!" is a celebration of love and autumn all in one.
